TERMS AND CONDITIONS
INTRODUCTION
- This page describes the terms and conditions pursuant to which the tickets for the U18 Music Event called Small Talk (the “Event”) will be sold to prospective attendees. Make sure that you read these terms and conditions with due care and caution. Please be informed that by purchasing the ticket for the Event, you will automatically be bound by the terms and conditions specified herein.
- The Event may take place at different venues. The particular venue of the Event (the “Venue”) and the day, date and time of the Event will be communicated to you prior to its commencement.
- If you want more information regarding the Event, you may visit our event page on Oztix. You may also access information for our next event on our Official Website, Facebook and Instagram pages.
- Please ask any questions or concerns that you have in relation to the Event before purchasing the ticket. It is entirely your responsibility to check the ticket on its receipt. If there is any discrepancy or mistake in the ticket, make sure that you inform the management of the Event (the “Management”) forthwith. The Management will not be able to make rectifications on the Event day.
ACCESS TO THE EVENT
- You may only obtain entry into the Event by showing a valid ticket at the Venue. The Management will not let you in upon failure to show a valid ticket. A ticket will not be accepted by the Management if any part of it is altered or removed. The Management will not be responsible in the event the ticket is lost, stolen or destroyed.
- The Event is strictly for individuals below the age of eighteen (18) years old. Anyone who is eighteen (18) or above WILL NOT be allowed entry in the Venue. We strictly recommend that anyone who is below the age of thirteen (13) should not attend this Event. However, if such individual is willing to attend the Event, he or she should do so with an older sibling, cousin or friend.
- The Management shall reserve the right to check identification cards. The visitors shall be responsible for bringing any form of identification which reflects their age. The Management shall further have the right to restrict the entry of any ticket-holder in the Venue if he/she does not have a valid form of identification.
- Upon checking identification cards, or any other form of identification, as the case maybe, if the Management finds out that the ticket-holder is of the age eighteen (18) or above, it shall reserve the right to restrict the entry of such ticket-holder.
- Your identification card shall contain the name and date of birth of the ticket-holder. However, if you do not have any such identification card, you must bring two separate photos and two individual identification cards or other forms of identification – one should have your name clearly written on it and the other should have your date of birth clearly written on it.
SECURITY
- Adequate security will be provided by the Management at the Venue. This is to ensure that all the attendees of the Event are safe and secure at all times.
- To ensure utmost security of the Event, the Management shall have the right to conduct security checks at the entry of the Venue. Such security check includes, but is not limited to, checking ticket-holders personally and any bags or items they carry alongwith them. Metal detectors may be used for the purposes of such security checks. Any contrabands and items which are not allowed in the Venue pursuant to these terms and conditions will be confiscated by the Management. The Management also reserves the right to restrict the entry of such ticket-holder into the Venue.
- Once the ticket-holder has left, he/she will not be allowed to enter back into the Venue. This will clearly be communicated to the ticket-holder by the Management during his/her exit. The Management will not provide any form of passes which will allow the ticket-holder to get back into the Venue.
- The security team will monitor the vicinity of the Venue once the Event is over. This is to ensure that all the attendees leave the Venue safely.
RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN ITEMS
- The Event is completely drug, smoke and alcohol free. The ticket-holders SHALL NOT be allowed to carry cigarettes, drugs, alcohol or any other related items on the Venue. This also includes vapes and e-cigarettes. Any ticket-holder carrying such items shall not be allowed entry into the Venue. The Management may confiscate and destroy such items. Any ticket-holder who is caught using or dealing with such items, or are being involved with any sort of contraband regarding such items, such ticket-holder shall be evicted immediately from the premises. The Management further reserves the right to ban such ticket-holder from any and all events conducted by the Management in the future.
- Ticket-holder shall not be allowed carry any form of liquid into the Venue. This also includes carrying water bottles.
PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTIONS (“PDA”)
- Ticket-holders shall not engage into PDA during the Event and at the Venue. PDA is defined as public actions or gestures of physical intimacy and this includes, but not limited to, sexual activities. PDA is strongly discouraged at the Event. The Management reserves the right to evict from the Venue the ticket-holders who are engaged into PDA. The Management may also ban such ticket-holders from such future events.
DRESS CODE
- The ticket-holders shall ensure that they are dressed formally and respectfully during the Event. Ticket-holders shall wear clean clothes. The ticket-holder shall wear enclosed footwear. Failure to comply with the dress code shall entitle the Management to restrict entry of the ticket-holder.
PHOTOGRAPHY
- There will be a photographer and a videographer who will take photo and video coverage of the entire Event. These photos and videos will be uploaded on the Small Talk Facebook page.
- In the event you or your parent/legal guardian does not consent to your photos or videos being taken during the Event, make sure that you contact about the same at smalltalkaustralia@gmail.com prior to the Event starts.
EVICTIONS
- If the ticket-holder gets evicted from the Venue for any reason whatsoever, such evictee shall wait in a designated area outside the Venue until his/her parent or a legal guardian comes and receives the evictee. If such evictee decides to leave the vicinity of the Venue, the Management will notify the police and record the entire incident.
- The Management reserves the right to completely ban the evictees from any and all future events conducted.
REFUNDS
- If you are unable to attend the Event for any valid reason and you want a refund for the ticket purchased, you may submit your refund request detailing such valid reason at info@oztix.com.au seven (7) days prior to the date of Event. The Management will evaluate the request and depending on the reasons stated therein, may refund the amount of the ticket.
- If the Event gets postponed due to unforeseeable circumstances, the ticket-holders shall have the option to either get a refund of the tickets purchased or hold onto the tickets for any event conducted in the future.
